Description On the end of the ’91 thru ’93 Dana 70 rear axles, a specialty serrated-head bolt is used to secure the axle shaft in the tube. After multiple installations, the serrations on the head wear down and can allow the bolt to back itself off. This has caused numerous axle shafts to start leaking and, in some extreme cases, fall out of the tube. 16 required per axle (8 per side). These will fit Dana 70 and Dana 80 axles up until 2002. Please note they do not fit the early pre-91 cone and nut style axle shafts that have a stud in the end of the axle tube.
